Vignette vs Classic Roman Shade

There are 2 major differences between the Hunter Douglas Vignette Modern Roman shade and a classic Roman shade (Vignette shade is on the left in both pictures):

• Vignette shade has no exposed cords on the back of the shade, which enables a clean look from the outside of the house when the shade is down (see picture on the left)
• Vignette shade rolls up neatly in the headrail, thus eliminating a bulky stack which is common on the classic Roman shade (see picture on the right)

Vignette Operating Systems

Vignette Modern Roman shades come with the EasyRise lifting mechanism standard. The EasyRise lift system is a cordloop that can be used to raise and lower the shade as well as a top down/bottom up shade. There are 3 other lifting options (starting from the left):

• UltraGlide system - cord retracts back into headrail like a lawnmower cord which elimates cords dragging on the floor and no need for a cord tensioner
• LiteRise system - cordless lifting system that eliminates all cords. Perfect for a house with young children and pets. Only available in the tiered headrail
• PowerRise system - control you shades with a remote control. Perfect for hard to reach shades (like behind a whirlpool tub or high windows) or people with disabilities

• Picture on the far left has a 3" vane size vs the 4" vane size
