Here are some different ideas to consider when updating your son’s bedroom: 

Decorate with stripes – This inherently masculine pattern comes in many different sizes and colors, giving your son the opportunity to choose whatever fits his unique personality. Stripes always look great on the walls, but you could also consider some striped custom bedding.

Hang a bulletin board – As your son grows up, he may have artwork, school papers, concert tickets or other items that he’ll want to put up on display. A bulletin board is a great way for him to adorn the wall with all the things he loves the most. 

Make sure he has plenty of space – You may want to rearrange his room so that the bed is pushed up against the wall. This will maximize the amount of space in the bedroom, allowing your son to move about freely and possibly fit in an artist’s easel, a drum set or other items that enable him to enjoy his passions as he grows.
